ECONStudio Architektur is an architectural practice based in Munich.

We understand architecture as a precise response to place, use and resources. Our work seeks clear spatial concepts, simple structures and a natural connection between function and design.

The name ECON reflects our approach: ECO stands for the conscious and responsible use of resources, while CON stands for context, construction and consistent thinking. Together, they form the basis of our design approach.

For us, sustainability begins with design. We consider rethinking existing buildings, using resources consciously and creating durable, adaptable spaces to be essential components of good architecture.

From interiors and work with existing buildings to new construction, we develop individual solutions in close dialogue with clients and planning partners.
